Jatiya Party MP Prof Masuda M Rashid Chowdhury passes away

Prof. Masuda Mashid Chowdhury, MP for reserved seats for women in Parliament, died today. At the time of her death, she was 70 years old. According to Delowar Jalali (press secretary of Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader), the former professor of Sociology at University of Dhaka died from various illnesses at Birdem Hospital around 3:30 AM. Masuda M RashidChowdhury had been receiving treatment at Birdem Hospital over the past few days. Delowar Jalali informed that she was placed on life support yesterday. Prof Masuda M. Chowdhury's son and daughter are her survivors, as well as a host family members and well-wishers. In 2019, she was elected MP from the reserved seats for women in parliament.
